The Pro-Stuk app collects the bare minimum — exactly what the diagnosis needs and nothing beyond it.
- The recording is sent to the server only when you press the record button. It is used for the analysis and is not kept once the report is ready — neither on the server nor in any file.
- The sound is analysed by Google. The recording is passed to the Google Gemini API, the service that analyses it on our behalf. Nothing that identifies you is sent along with it.
- Car details (make, model, year, mileage) and your answers go with the recording — they are what the causes are weighed against.
- Sign-in with Google or Apple. The app creates no accounts of its own and never asks for a password. From the store it receives only your permanent user number; your garage and check balance are stored against it. Your name, photo and e-mail are neither requested nor kept.
- Purchases go through the store. Payment is taken by Google Play or the App Store; your card details never reach us. Our server receives only the store’s confirmation and adds the checks; the receipt is kept so nothing is credited twice.
- Your IP address is visible to the server, as it is to any site you open, and is used only to keep the service from being overloaded. It stays in memory for a few minutes, never reaches a database and is never linked to a report.
- There are no third-party trackers or ads. The site counts anonymous page views on its own server — no cookies, no identifiers, nothing passed to anyone else. The app has no analytics at all. So that one visit is not counted twice, the browser keeps a single marker in the tab’s memory; it disappears with the tab and identifies no one.
- Your report history stays on your device only and is deleted along with the app.
- The connection is encrypted. The app talks to the server over HTTPS.
- How to delete your data. Uninstalling the app is enough to erase the report history on your phone. The account itself, together with the garage and the remaining checks, is deleted inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is final and unused checks are not refunded.
- The app is not meant for children. It is built for drivers and is not directed at children.
The microphone is switched on only while a sound is being recorded, and only when you ask for it. The report is a probability estimate, not a diagnosis; the decision to repair belongs to a mechanic after an inspection.
